Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar storage technologies used on portiqa.ai. For broader information about how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies let a site recognise your browser between requests. We also use related technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and HTTP-only session tokens.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

These keep you logged in, protect against CSRF, and let core features (checkout, dashboard) work. They cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.

Analytics (consent-based)

On the public marketing pages (homepage, pricing, docs), we load Google Analytics to count visitors and understand traffic sources. Analytics cookies are not set on the dashboard or any authenticated user pages.

Payment

When you reach Stripe Checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and session continuity. These are governed by Stripe's cookie settings.

3. How to control cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers also offer a "do not track" or "global privacy control" signal that we honor for analytics. Note that disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent login and checkout from working.

To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4. Third-party storage

Our sub-processors may set their own cookies on their domains: Auth0 (auth0.com), Stripe (stripe.com), and Google (google.com, googletagmanager.com). These are governed by the cookie policies of those providers.

5. Changes

If we add, remove, or change the cookies we use materially, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
