1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies let a site recognise your browser between requests. We also use related technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and HTTP-only session tokens.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
These keep you logged in, protect against CSRF, and let core features (checkout, dashboard) work. They cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.
- PHP session cookie — issued on login, expires on logout or after inactivity.
- Auth0 session — set by our identity provider during sign-in.
- CSRF token — protects forms (checkout, plan changes) from cross-site request forgery.
Analytics (consent-based)
On public marketing, documentation, and policy pages, Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose Allow analytics. Before consent, the Google Analytics script is not requested and no analytics event is sent. Analytics is not loaded on the dashboard or authenticated user pages.

Payment
When you reach Stripe Checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention and session continuity. These are governed by Stripe's cookie settings.
3. How to control cookies
Use the control on this page or in the footer to allow, decline, or revisit analytics consent. Declining removes PORTIQA analytics cookies that are accessible to this site. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser settings.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, PORTIQA keeps analytics off even if an earlier local choice said to allow it. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent login and checkout from working.
To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
4. Third-party storage
Our sub-processors may set their own cookies on their domains: Auth0 (auth0.com), Stripe (stripe.com), and Google (google.com, googletagmanager.com). These are governed by the cookie policies of those providers.
5. Changes
If we add, remove, or change the cookies we use materially, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
